Puerto Vallarta Beach¡Hola!

After being away for more than a decade, I can happily report Puerto Vallarta (PV) is still very much a great beach destination. Filled with restaurants, clubs, bars, friendly locals, timeshare salesman, kilometers of beaches, and plenty of sunshine, it’s no surprise PV is a popular destination for those looking to get away from winter. In today’s post, I’ll give a quick recap of my trip, share some tips for travelling to PV, and tell you how a coffee machine almost grounded our plane!

$1 saved is $1.07 earned! Wait, what? Don’t worry I haven’t totally lost my mind (although sometimes my partner thinks otherwise)! Thanks to the all powerful, and sometimes mysterious stock market, it is perfectly reasonable to earn 7 cents for every dollar that you invest. Now you may be thinking, why would anyone care about 7 cents? Well, most people probably wouldn’t care at all, but most people also wouldn’t invest only $1.

Aeroplan Part 1: Introduction

Aeroplan is Canada’s only homegrown airline mileage program. Love it or hate it, this is the program that will make the most sense for the average Canadian traveler. As with any reward program, the goal is to strategically earn as many points/miles as possible with the least amount of effort/cost. Conversely, when it comes time to redeem those points/miles for free/cheap travel the goal is to exchange the fewest number of points/miles per dollar if you were to pay instead.
