It feels like I just got back from my trip to Washington, but time is flying by and I’ll soon be off on my next adventure. This time I’m travelling solo as I go to the USA and Poland, where I’ll be meeting up with my parents and visiting relatives.

Sometimes the best deals can be found when you’re not looking for them. One of the remaining upgrades I’ve been wanting to make for my bike was adding a dropper post. Unfortunately, it’s quite an expensive upgrade and considering how much I’ve already spent this year on my bike I was holding off on getting one, until now!

So I originally wanted to write a ‘trip planning’ post as well as a trip report, but I got caught up with so many other things that the trip started before I got a chance, so here we go with the post trip report instead!

Product warranties are great, but sometimes they can be a real hassle to deal with. Not to mention the hidden costs of shipping and labour that can add up very quickly, which are often not covered under warranty! So it pays to read the fine print and understand what your warranty covers and what it doesn’t, or if you have alternative coverage from other sources (e.g., insurance, credit cards).
Hyperventilation
Holy smokes, it’s already been 2 weeks since my last post! Time flies when you’re having fun. I’ve had the fortune of spending a lot of time outdoors over the last couple of weeks.
