# Cleaning up categories and fixing a blank editor

A few small but useful fixes to this site over the past few days.

**Decap editor was showing a blank screen.** Trying to write a new post under the blog collection just gave a white screen with no error message. Turned out to be related to the admin theme setup — the editor didn't render properly under non-default themes. Fixed by adjusting the admin page and pinning the Decap version so it doesn't regress again.

**Trimmed unused categories.** Removed the 3D World, Game Dev, Design, and Hearthstone categories along with their placeholder/sample posts. These were leftover from early experimentation and weren't going anywhere, so I cleaned them out of the config, the layout, and the category list rather than let them linger.

**Added a first A/B test.** Set up an end-of-post call-to-action component and wired it into GrowthBook to run as an experiment — the first real A/B test on the site. Also added an nginx config change to support it.

Also poked at whether a network device inventory tool would be worth running on one of my machines, but didn't take that further yet.
